So here we are, 6 days into April and you haven’t seen a #BigBrnzChallenege. What the heck BigBrnz? Well needless to say we’ve been a little bit busy with everything going on in the world. Well the vacation is over. So while we determine what our new ‘normal’ is and how long we will have to endure it, here is something for you. If you made it through the March #BigBrnzChallenge, then this should be a piece of the proverbial cake.
Where are those daily steps? The commute. The lunchtime walk? That time spent at the gym or on the treadmill. Most of those things have fallen by the wayside as non-essential businesses close and we are stuck in social isolation. How do we keep from gaining the freshman 15… I mean the COVID 19 (pounds)? Well that’s were getting the activity you can comes in and this months challenge.
This months’ challenge is an every day one. From here until the 30thof April, you have work to do twice a day. Something to get you moving, up from that chair (if you work from home) or to break up your day. The whole family can play too!
Twice a DAY (ideally once in the am and once in the pm)
10 Air Squat
Get your body moving everyday. Use this as a starting point for your day. Get out for a walk. Go for a run. Make sure you are practicing social distancing and being smart, but still do the work. The only way to get to the other side of this is by going through and we have to do it together. Be active. Be kind. Look to see where you can help.
