Day Six

Welcome to Day Six! Don’t get too excited about this one
folks, because I decided to throw a changeup and take it easier (but not take
the day off).  I figure it is better to
have an easy day after four straight tough ones to give the body a chance to recover
a bit. There is no chance for success if the body doesn’t get a breather.

I woke up today and it was an absolutely (I’ve been saying
that a lot lately) beautiful morning.  So
after sleeping in a bit (it is very nice not to have to crawl out of bed at the
crack of dawn.  Actually the crack of dawn
is known as 5:00am, but that’s neither here nor there), it was time to get
dressed, grab a coffee, breakfast and take a nice little walk in the fresh air.

Taking advantage of the Yonge and Sheppard area I discovered
a great little route that included a couple of parks, quiet back streets and some
great scenery.  Covered about 5.64KMs
over the course of 90 minutes (and yes, that isn’t breakneck speed, but it wasn’t
supposed to be).  Just being outside
enjoying the weather (as long as you were in the sun and the wind wasn’t
screaming) was very relaxing.

Happy Easter!
