The 2009-2010 Brantford Football League season has officially drawn to a close, for me anyway. There is a game and end of season party, but because its on the May 24 long weekend and I already had plans, I won’t be able to play or party with the group… Boo…
So it was a mad cap weekend, let me tell you. First I will say that I was going to spin Friday night. Then something unexpected happened. I met with my real estate agent who wanted m me to come with him to some taping of a TV show. So we meet up and are getting ready to head to the location when we hop into THE CASH CAB! Dan had no idea and I knew as soon as I got in. Long story short, we passed on the double or nothing and made some $$$.
Soooooo, that was exercise plan out the window. I got up early Saturday and headed to Brantford and it was a tough game. We were short bodies and there was a lot of running to be done. Not that running is a bad thing, but 2 more people would have made the game a little ‘easier’. I had some troubles with the ankles and it seriously pissed me off. I rolled it, not badly, but enough to hurt so I was slowed down. I took some plays of to be QB which seemed to calm it down, but I had to keep playing and eventually move back to full time as Rod had some injuries as well. It was the second time (was coming down and the ankle sort of locked and wouldn’t bend) that signaled the end of my day.
Sometimes I wish I would just F’ it up completely so that they have to fix it…
Anyway, off to the Blue Jay game as Katherine is singing the national anthems!!
