What’s That? A Morning Session???

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it Superman? Nope, that’s three strikes kiddies, you’re outta there… It’s Bernie, up at 6:15am on das Spritz and working through the 45 minute session.

I KNOW! Crazyness? Almost unbelievable?

I’m not sure what the deal was, but after some very weird dreams (one of which involved being able to breath water??!?) I was up before the alarm and bright eyed / bushy tailed (Whatever that’s supposed to mean). I guess that’s the last time I have a strawberry and chocolate protein shake after spinning and before bed.

It was a little tougher this morning keeping the heart rate in the zone, but the pace was fairly good and the legs felt much better than yesterday. I think I’m finding it a little easier because of the frequency of the workouts and the seat change I made Sunday night. Brought the seat forward one position and it reduced the stress on my arms and wrists (I think I was leaning too far to get to the handlebars).

I’ve been throwing in some other exercises after my stretching just to make sure my upper body doesn’t go to seed, but I think I need to throw a gym session or two in. Friday is a weigh in day…
