It’s Sunday morning, you know what that means…
It’s time for some football and P90X Day 3 Shoulders & Arms.
That’s right kiddies, you heard me right. I played 5 softball games in the TCSSC Tourney (Saturday) with the CIBC team ‘Smack My Pitch Up’. We were pretty impressive (not that I’m blowing our horn or anything). We came through the round robin 3W 1L (losing only to the #1 team in our division) and made the playoffs. We lost in the quarter finals, but honestly after playing for two hours in a torrential downpour, I don’t think any of us were upset about not having to play 2 more games.
Woke up this morning after a solid 9 hours of recovery sleep (from various nicks and bangs that occurred during the tourney) and hummed and hawed about whether or not to do Day 3. After not being able to come up with a good reason why not to do it (although if it was Yoga X or Kempo X I’m pretty sure I could have found a few), I sucked it up and went to work. It’s now official, Shoulders & Arms are now my second favorite exercise day behind Chest & Back.
There are some seriously solid arm exercises to do. It was a good burn, but it was so worth it once I was finished. I am pretty gassed right now, but I have a full schedule of football to look forward to, including my 49ers at Minnesota.
