We now return to our regularly scheduled program…
OK, so there has been a small delay between Day 12 and Day 13, please allow me to explain. When last we left our chubby superhero he had just completed Yoga X and was preparing to do battle for the Mississauga Men’s Slopitch Championship. Here’s what has happened since:
Wednesday – The Blue Rams start with an absolutely awful display of offense and defense and have our asses handed to us in Game 1. In Game 2 we come back and hold a 6-1 lead until surrendering 11 (Not Pretty). We rally and take a 16-12 lead and then Markland has the tying run on 3rd base with 1 out. After a line out to 3B for out number 2, the next batter flies out to right field. After a little bit of a circus between Nelly and Koter, the Blue Rams are the 3 TIME CHAMPIONS!
Thursday – U2… Do I really need to say anything else?
Friday – Got home with the full intention of doing P90X, but I got lazy (yes, I admit it) and then took Mike C for a birthday dinner.
Saturday – Got up, and headed to Mississauga for Natalie and Danny’s wedding. Let’s just say all diet restrictions went out the window.
Sunday – Early pickup for the Buffalo Bills home opener… Yeah, Johnsville Cheese Bratwurst are maybe the best thing since sliced bread. No redeeming health value, but when in Orchard Park drinking beer…
Monday – Let’s just say after all of that, I had a pile of laundry and assorted crap that needed to be cleaned up. Took the bike rack off the car and was in bed by 9:30PM.
Update is now complete.
Welcome to Tuesday and Kempo X Day! Got up this morning and felt well rested after all the jet setting and assorted partying. There is nothing like lots of punching, kicking, kneeing and such first thing in the morning. Well at least I’m getting back on track. I’m going to forgo the day off and do the Stretch X tomorrow as penance for my mini vacation…
