Happy St. Patrick’s Hangover

Well it’s been a month…

Like I’ve been MIA for 30 days…

What’s been going on?

 

LOTS.

 

www.bigbrnz.com was down for a bit thanks to some DNS issues…

I missed on the February Sit-up Challenge (mostly because I was sick)…

I started the March Calorie Challenge…

We’ve been getting into a routine with @RoRoFromMexico

There’s been more acupuncture.

There’s been some Rowing…

There has been a tonne of school and work…

 

And those are just the high level ones.

 

Well let’s get the elephant in the room out. 1,404 of 3,000 Sit-ups in February. I got behind and then there just wasn’t enough time to bounce back. Ugh. Still it happens and it wasn’t like I wasn’t doing work (just not all of it). For March’s Challenge, the goal is to hit 1,550 calories either by Row, Bike or Treadmill in the 31 days. So far I’m through 424 of the 1,550. Not bad, but I really need to buckle down during birthday week to get to the goal.

 

So Diiirrrrtttyyyy…

 

On the workout front, it has been tough to get into @CrossFitCanuck on anything resembling a regular schedule, but when I did manage to get in to WOD I was pretty happy with the results. I managed to hit a score 1 point behind the leader of the day (who I have 2 decades on) and even though my hamstrings are still tight, it was FUN (and yes, that is a @CanuckCoach F-U-N).

Now the next two weeks are going to be very busy on the work and school front and somewhere in there I’m having a birthday. Another year older, a little bit smarter, a little bit wiser and a lot happier. I almost got talked into running a half marathon to get a sweet @StarWars medal (thanks for that @jessicaroy1978), but right now I will focus on just being steady.
