Mission Accomplished!

Well Ladies and Gentlemen the goal stated last night (to make it to the gym Tuesday morning) was a complete and un-mitigated success. I was up with the radio at 5:50 am and rolled over and contemplated rolling over and going back to bed. As I lay there I thought about what was going to happen today I realized that with Spanky coming to visit tonight, I knew the odds of getting on the bike were slim to none. OK, honestly it would have been NONE.

So I pried myself out of bed and got dressed, grabbed the nano and it was off downstairs. I wasn’t sure what I was going to find in the condo gym because when you think about it, I did go down there on a Friday. Warily I made the trip down to the ground level and opened the door. What I found… Was that I had to turn on the lights, again. Apparently the people in my building and the one next door, DO NOT get up early. There was nobody there (well honestly, there was one guy on the other elliptical, but other than him there was nobody).

35 minutes on the elliptical doing an interval session resulted in 548.1 calories burned at an average BPM of 140. It was a pretty fun session, all things considered. When I was done, I decide to throw in an arm session. 2 sets of 15 @ 20lbs bicep curls. 2 sets of 15 @ 20lbs shoulder presses. 1 set of 15 @ 12lbs overhead triceps extensions and 2 sets of 15lbs overhead triceps extensions.

The unicorn mission is still good to go and 2/5 done. I haven’t decided if tomorrow is going to be a spin session with Spritz 3.0, a gym session or a swim. Decisions, decision, decisions, I have nothing but difficult decisions to make.
