King Beez & The Brave 300

Kind of an odd title wouldn’t you agree? Well Ladies and Gentlemen;
this is post #300 for yours truly.  300,
can you believe it? Who would have thought that I had that much to say… OK, be
honest, you knew that I would. 300 events to catalog, 300 posts to spill items
from my brain onto the world wide web. Crazy.

Well now that the nostalgia is out of the way, let’s get to
the reason that you’ve tuned in. ME!  Let’s
just say that you have caught me in an interesting mood today.  I just finished far too much KD and I’m
planning on working my way through the backlog on my PVR (some items have been
sitting there since November).  Not an
exciting Friday night, but sometimes you just have to unplug and unwind.

So I woke up this morning and made it my mission to get out
of bed a little bit earlier so that I could tack on extra workout time.  It was tough, because it does take a
considerable amount of time and energy to get this much chocolate moving in the
morning. Up and out the door five minutes (c’mon, it’s Friday) earlier and at
the gym fifteen minutes early thanks to nobody being on the road.

Bumped up the warm-up time and then made the unpleasant
decision to work LEGS. They were not happy about it, but it was what needed to
happen.  I even managed to take it to the
next level on the leg press.  When I finished
it was off to cardio (where I actually dropped the cardio time to end my
session) and then off to work.

Treadmill – 23 minutes, 1.29 miles, 285 calories
Leg Extension – 3×15 @70lbs ISO
Hip Abduction – 2×30 @255lbs and 1×23 @255lbs (failure)
Hip Adduction – 3×30 @255lbs
Seated Leg Curl – 4×15 @135lbs
Leg Press- 4×15 @270lbs
‘Ski’ Elliptical – 30 minutes, 3.91 miles, 549 calories, 140
Avg BPM, 144 Max BPM

Now we’re headed into a long weekend so food might be off
the chart, but I am going to try and get a workout in either Saturday or Sunday
(and maybe even one Monday). Have a happy Family Day long weekend.

Beez
