Happy Friday morning Ladies and Gentlemen!
The alarm went off at 5:55am this morning and let me tell you the desire to get up and workout was precisely ZILCH! My bed was so warm and comfortable and my body was still so very tired. However that being said, I did drag my butt out of bed, got dressed and went down to the condo gym. What’s this? Signs of life? There were actual people at the gym this morning, but I still got the elliptical that I wanted.
So Friday’s session was a 40 minute interval program. It was a little tough getting started, but it ended up being a good burn. 593.2 calories with an average BPM of 134 (and a max of 148). When I hopped of the machine I still wasn’t feeling 100% but I decided to throw an extra set of 15 bicep curls @ 25lbs. The backs of my arms (not triceps) are still very tight so I’m not sure how smart that was. I finished up 15 shoulder shrugs @ 25lbs.
I am trying to figure out what activity is going to go on this weekend (it’s Family Day long weekend after all). There is the possibility of football in Brantford, but my body is not feeling 100%. We’ll see if I can get out and about. At the very least I’m hoping for one session this weekend.
