Pride

Working to get back to this me…

Always be proud.

Always be proud of your accomplishments, no matter how small or trivial (you may think they are), they are the wins that need to be celebrated. Remember that these wins are why you work so hard, get up early on those days when you could be sleeping in and struggle to find the will to keep going. Celebrate them!

Today @CanuckCoach will get a notification that the 300lb barrier has been broken for the second (and hopefully last) time. This morning when I hopped on the scale, the LED clicked to 299.4lbs. The weight is coming down again after a lot of hard work, but it’s been slower this time. Maybe crossing the 40 threshold has slowed some things down, but it won’t stop me.

Tomorrow I’m going to try and get out for a long run. The mercury is looking to really bottom out in the morning so I might have to postpone till the afternoon, but I will get out. So far the runs have gone really well, but it seems the knee doesn’t like the Rower anymore. Wednesday’s session has caused some swelling, but hopefully it will go down quickly. Brutal since I didn’t even push too hard.

Oh well, onward and sideways… First Specialist appointment Monday…
