Consolation Round

Well the Rams are back at it again with 10 guys starting the first round. It was a nice day out, but it seems that the team isn’t taking this very seriously. It wasn’t as bad as last week (and the stupidity that that included), but it was a game against a not very good team that we could and should have beat.

I got to the diamond, but the rest of the boys were late showing up so my warm-up wasn’t too good. Some of the boys decided that a couple of beers in the parking lot before the game were a good idea too. I don’t understand why we can’t just play ball.

Once the game started we had some good innings and at bats and took a 5 run lead into the bottom of the last inning. We them promptly decided to play Blue Ram baseball and proceeded to give up 6 runs. Then we went 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning to seal our fate.

Even with a 2-for-4 night, I think I’ve already checked out,
