Hello Boys (and Girls) I’m BBBBAAAAAACCCKKKKKKKK

Did you miss me???

Well after the catastrophe that was post turning 35, I have missed a bit of time. Just for those trying to keep track, there was the bad back (as a result of a stupid printer), there were the ankle issues (seized) and then there were the hip flexors… and a partridge in a pear tree (too soon?). I was seriously damaged and had to visit the masseuse on last Wednesday to facilitate, oh, I don’t know… Walking. The response, what the hell were you doing??

So after my visit to Dr. Spin last night and another session with the masseuse, I wanted to spin last night. I was gently told that spinning last night was not the most ideal thing. He said I could do it in the morning if I did 8 minutes of stretching on the calves, hamstrings and hip flexors.

Tuesday morning arrives and Spritz and I got together for a session this am. Fringe on the TV, with a very good episode from the ‘other side’ regarding Altivia and her pregnancy (and if you have no idea what I’m talking about, it’s ok, Fringe fans know what I’m talking about). So it was a 42 minute session that was a little tough to get started, but once I got going it was 22.31 KM at an average cadence of 89. It was nice to see that, because I felt that I was having trouble getting up around 90… I was under and over all over the map. The BPM were a bit skewed, but I did end up with an average of 154 (it did get a little crazy with a max of 168).

I’m going to start pushing forward again because I have decided that it will be the Wasaga Duathlon in September. There it has been stated. Between then and now, I will be doing the rife for heart in June so it’s 2 months left for training. If you haven’t donated yet, it’s for a good cause, help me get to $1500.
